A day in Gaya Street~

Though it's like a weekly routine to me, i had never blog anything about my trip to Gaya Street. Haha, macam la hebat sangat kan, orang lain blog about trip ke Beijing, trip ke Italy, Bali, Egypt, or whatsoever across the sea trip, but aku just trip to Gaya Street which is not even across the river, parit maybe la. ;p

So today as every other Sunday, mom woke me up at around 6-ish. Yeah, that's early kan. Because my dear mom knows that her lovely daughter will take another 10-20 minutes for eyes to wide open, and another 20 -40 minutes and at times can reach up to 120 minutes for her to be fully awake and standing still. But today, amazingly it only took 15 minutes for me to 'drag' myself into the shower. And by 7.30am we already at the Gaya Street finding parking. Even when we consider ourself the early bird pun susah mau cari parking woo. Okay, for those who never went to Gaya Street, it is open as early as 0600 am. How do i know as i doesn't even wake up by then, only during weekend aa - hari bangun lambat. Visit this link. Well, as mentioned here, they sell almost everything - every items a housewife wanted for their daily routine, from vegetables to pet and for the daily appearance from imitation handbags to the original crystal and pearls. They even sell parangs, knives, axes and all sort of 'weapon', does gardening tools set counted?, which somehow freaked me out, mana la tau tetiba ada psycho grab those parangs and get mad for not getting discounts on the vegies. Haha, too much movie i guess.

What is supposed to be 10 minutes shopping, turned out to be more than one and a half hour. Intially our intention, it's mom actually, saya yang menurut perintah, was to buy fresh vegetables for lunch and dinner. But after completing half round of the streets, it's Gaya Street remember? so, they are indeed selling their stuff ON the street, we then came across few of nursery stall, can i call them-sitting-on-the-street as stall?, and we stuck there for like one hour. While waiting for mom, my eyes caught on this beautiful kekwa (chrysanthemum?) flower, and suprisingly i bought that flower. Being typical me, usually i would not fall into buying flowers, i mean flower-in-the-pot, no matter how dropped dead gorgeous they are. I don't know what has gotten into me, lately. For my whole twenty-*toot* years of life, this is the second time i bought real flowers, this is with the exception of cactus, the fact that you don't have to really take care of cactus makes it is not counted as real flowers, boleh tak, hihi.

Kekwa still in the pot.

Moving Kekwa into a new 'banglo' from the old 'pondok'. :p

Still in action.

Tadaa!! Beautiful isn't it?

Sooo proud of myself. Hmm, wonder if i'm now more into mama-mama? As my interest on flowers had changed from cactus, the simpler version of flowers, into this kekwa, a more not-simpler-version of flower? Haha. What the hell i'm talking about?

Don't ever complain on atmosphere layer getting thin. . .
Don't whine when the weather is boiling your brain out. . .
Don't contravene for the melting antartica ice cube. . .
If you haven't play your part in saving the earth. . .
As i'm already done mine. . .

Lesson for the day: Don't buy kangkung without roots as they might have taken it from any 'longkang'.

wah, LC!! I'm lagging by 12 years from you in this loving-flowers-club!! Hopefully from growing flowers, it'll develop into growing babies. haha..

tp, true isn't it? macam you can't wait to see ur flower growing and produce flower, while in the meantime, u have to be patient enough to be constantly 'feeding' it.
